Ohio Energy Customer Choice: Duke Energy is committed to providing information that may be helpful to their customers who are Ross Township residents. Toward that end, they would like to share the links directly below information on Ohio Energy Customer Choice (aka, Energy Choice Ohio). This refers to customers’ ability to choose their electric and/or natural gas supplier in Ohio; sometimes this can occur by “opting in” or “opting out” with what’s known as community aggregation. Ross Township will be putting the issue of community aggregation on the November 2023 ballot.
