Watch for Community Electric Aggregation Opt Out Letters: Those residents eligible for Ross Township's community electric aggregation program will be receiving opt out letters in the mail during the next few days. As a reminder, residents voted in favor of government aggregation, a program authorizing local officials to purchase electricity from a retail electric generation supplier certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Only those currently on Duke Energy’s default generation supply are eligible. MORGAN ROSS ROAD CLOSING

Ross Township/Morgan Township

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Morgan Ross Road will close to all through traffic from Hamilton New London Road to S.R. 748 beginning Monday, July 18, 2022. Local traffic will be maintained. Ross Township crews will replace four culverts and tentatively plan for the road to reopen on August 12, 2022.

Detour: Northbound Morgan Ross Road traffic will detour west on Hamilton New London Road, northwest on S.R. 126, and north on S.R. 748. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
