BCI Investigation Closed: The Ross Township Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that BCI has completed their investigation. The Board felt it was necessary to initiate this inquiry with a fair and impartial party. For the purpose of openness and transparency, we wanted the residents of Ross Township to be confident that their precious tax dollars are being spent and overseen, wisely. The findings of BCI and the Butler County Prosecutors office are that there is no evidence of any wrong doing and the case is closed.   In the words of  Butler County Prosecutor, Mike Gmoser,  quote   “This is a tempest in a teapot. The investigation is over. Case closed.”   Any recommendations from the BCI investigation will be given the strongest possible consideration so that moving forward, we, along with the Fiscal Officer, the Township Administrator and the department heads can keep Ross Township a great place to live and work.

INTERNET AUCTION OF OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT

The Ross Township Board of Trustees, Butler County, Ohio passed resolutions at its March 4, 2021 and April 2, 2020 meetings which read, in part, as follows:  “That the Board finds that the items listed on the attached Exhibit “A” are no longer needed for public use, are obsolete and unfit for the uses acquired and shall be offered for sale via on-line Internet services by GovDeals.com, in accordance with the terms of the website and following notice and publication as required by Section 505.10 of the Ohio Revised Code.” 

This notice and the full resolutions can be viewed during normal business hours at the office of the Ross Township Fiscal Officer, 4055 Hamilton Cleves Road or on the Ross Township website at www.rosstwp.org under the News & Notices section entitled Internet Auction along with a link to GovDeals.com.  The internet auction will begin on April 9, 2021 and end at 8:10pm EST on April 20 , 2021.
