BCEO Road Closing – Black Road: NEWS RELEASE Thursday, March 27, 2025 For Immediate Release Road Closings and Latest News on our website: https://www.bceo.org/news/ BLACK ROAD CLOSING Ross Township/Hanover Township  The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Black Road will close five feet north of Hamilton New London Road and 1.6 miles south of Ross Hanover Road for an emergency culvert replacement beginning Monday, March 31, 2025. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on April 2, 2025. Detour: Northbound Black Road traffic will detour northeast on Hamilton New London Road, and west on Ross Hanover Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route. Duke Energy – Ross Transmission Line Extension Public Meetings

Duke Energy will be conducting an interactive webinar on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 for the Ross East Transmission Line Extension Project and on Thursday, October 13, 2022 for the Ross West Transmission Line Extension Project.  In addition, an in-person informational open house regarding both Transmission Line Extension Projects will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Ross High School Cafeteria. The webinars and open house allow for public input that will be considered during the selection of the preferred routes for the transmission lines.  Pre-registration for the webinars can be found at www.duke-energy.com/Ross. There is no pre-registration for the open house.
