Keith Ballauer Day - Jan. 1, 2026

Ross Township is proud to recognize outgoing Trustee Keith Ballauer for a lifetime of dedication, integrity, and service to our community, county, and country.

A Ross Township resident since 1975 and a graduate of Ross High School and D. Russell Lee Vocational School (Class of 1982), Keith has devoted decades to serving others. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982–1985, exemplifying courage, discipline, and commitment to duty.

Keith’s service to Ross Township spans many roles, including:
Ross Township Fire Department – 9 years, rising from volunteer to Captain
Ross Township Police Department – 17 years of protecting and serving residents
Snow Plow Driver – ensuring safe and accessible roadways
Ross Township Trustee – 8 years (2018–2025), also serving with the Butler County Township Association

In addition, Keith served with the Oxford Township Police Department and has dedicated 27 years to Ford Motor Company.

Keith’s service has always been supported by his loving family—his wife Barb, his late son Todd Mischell, his daughter Samantha, son-in-law Tim Hooven, and his four cherished grandchildren.

In gratitude for his extraordinary and lasting contributions, the Ross Township Board of Trustees is honored to proclaim January 1, 2026 as “Keith Ballauer Day” in Ross Township, Butler County, Ohio.

Thank you, Keith, for a lifetime of service.
