The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Hamilton New London Road will close 0.2 miles east of Layhigh Rd and 1.3 miles southwest of Herman Rd for a storm pipe replacement beginning Monday, July 20, 2026. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 24, 2026.

Detour: Eastbound Hamilton New London Road traffic will detour north on Layhigh Rd, east on Kirchling Road, and south on Ross Millville Rd. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Motorists are encouraged to check the BCEO website and PROJECTS MAP, as well as Facebook and X @bceonews, for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.
