Ohio Revised Code Sections 505.87 and 505.871 states that your Board of Township Trustees may provide for the abatement, control, or removal of vegetation, garbage, refuse, junked automobiles and other debris from land in the township, if the board determines that the owner’s maintenance of that vegetation, garbage, refuse, or other debris constitutes a nuisance. This allows the Township to require that residents keep our community clean, safe and livable.
While the law does not want the Township to be intrusive it does allow us to make sure that that the high community standards you demand are enforced. To report an alleged violation, simply contact one of your elected Trustees or the Township Administrator. We promise prompt attention to all calls.
